Show AutoCorrect Options buttons in Excel

When you open AutoCorrect tab in Excel AutoCorrect options dialog box, you can see the first option as "Show AutoCorrect Options buttons". Please refer below image. If you are not sure how to open Excel AutoCorrect dialog box, click the next link to learn how to open Excel AutoCorrect dialog box.

"Show AutoCorrect Options buttons" setting inside AutoCorrect tab is not for Excel, but for other Applications in MS Office bundle, like MS Word, MS PowerPoint etc. If you uncheck "Show AutoCorrect Options buttons" setting in AutoCorrect tab, AutoCorrect Options buttons will be hidden in MS Word and MS PowerPoint.

If you click on the small blue rectangle at the bottom of the first letter, options for AutoCorrect will be displayed as shown below.

As we had learned before, AutoCorrect settings are whole MS Office package related settings, not only specific for MS Excel. If you make some changes in MS Excel’s AutoCorrect settings, that may affect other applications in MS Office package.
