Capitalize names of days in Excel AutoCorrect

 

"Capitalize names of days" in Excel AutoCorrect settings can automatically capitalize the first letter of the name of a day, if it is typed as small letter. For example, let us assume the name of the day as "Wednesday". By mistake, instead of typing the name of the day as "Wednesday", you had typed "wednesday". Excel can automatically detect the first letter capitalization of the name of a day and correct it as "Wednesday".

First letter capitalization of the name of a day setting is enabled in Excel, by default.

If you want to disable Excel automatically capitalizing the first letter of the name of a day, uncheck the "Capitalize names of days" checkbox.

If you want to enable Excel automatically capitalizing the first letter of the name of a day, check the "Capitalize names of days" checkbox.
