How to view hidden files using Windows File Explorer

There are some hidden files in the below folder. Windows Explorer is not showing the file icons, because the Hidden file attribute of those files are set. Follow below steps to view the hidden files or folders in Windows Explorer.
Step 01 – Click the three dots (horizontal ellipsis) in Windows Explorer. Click "Options" from the drop–down menu, as shown in below image.
Step 02 – Open the "View" tab in "Folder Options", by clicking the "View" tab. Click and select the "Show hidden files, folders and drives" radio button. Click "Apply" and then "OK" buttons as shown in the below image.
Step 03 – Now the Windows File Explorer is configured to display hidden files, folders and drives. As explained above, File Explorer app in Windows Operating Systems display hidden file and folder icons as half–transparent. Please refer the next screenshot.

When you see a half–transparent file or folder icon in Windows Explorer, the meaning is that the file or folder has the Hidden File attribute enabled, but the Windows Explorer is configured to display hidden files also.
