Sometimes you want to scroll a large worksheet by keeping an area of a worksheet visible while you navigate inside Excel worksheet. For example, you may want to see both Row Heading and Column heading of the worksheet while you scroll Excel worksheet. There is a feature in Excel called Freeze Panes to make some Rows and Columns of a worksheet always visible while you scroll Excel worksheet.
To Freeze Pane both at Row and Column, follow below steps.
Step 1 - Here in this example, I want to freeze the top-most Row and left-most Column. To freeze the top-most Row and left-most Column, I need to select the bottom corner Cell at top-most Row and left-most Column intersection (Cell Addess B2, in this example). Use the same logic to address your requirement.
Please refer below image.
Step 2 - Click "Freeze Panes" Rich menu and then select "Freeze Panes" from Excel Ribbon > "View" Tab > "Window" Group as shown below.
Step 3 - As you can see from below image, Row 1 (top-most Row) and Column A (left-most Column) are frozen and it is always visible as you scroll down or to right-side in Excel worksheet.
